Abstract: | Fluid flow over unsteady stretching surface with chemical reaction and nonuniform heat source in a quiescent medium extending to infinity was investigated. The boundary layer problem was modelled as partial differential equations and transformed to a set of ordinary differential equations using similarity variables. The three important parameters namely, the unsteadiness parameter (S), space-dependent parameter (A*) and temperature-dependent parameter (B*) for heat source/sink were included in the problem. The velocity, temperature and concentration profiles were obtained using the Runge–Kutta– Fehlberg method with the shooting techniques. . . |
